Summer Eclectic Home Tour 2017
Hey, peeps, I have a fun post for you today: a mini photo tour of my 900 sq ft home.
This week, Jess from Domicile 37 is hosting a hop tour where different bloggers show images of their homes every day. Today is my turn.
I won’t write long because I don’t have a lot of time before this post goes live, but images speak more than 1,000 words, don’t you think? The thing is that George has been gone all week and I haven’t found the time to write, but take pictures I did!
Take a look:
This is the piano in my living room. The most important piece here are the peonies! Summer = cheap peonies at Trader Joe’s!!!! I take full advantage of this opportunity when it comes around. Peonies in the bathroom. Hanging plants because that is what I like. Here is the porch. The entrance to our home.
More and more plants.
The living room again! I really like this corner of this room because it has so much color and is fun. Here is the tutorial on how to do that painting on the left. This photo looks like a painting but it is not. Tulips are another love of mine so I took this photo in front of our mural. The other side of our living room. I bought this lamp a month ago in IKEA. A textile I created last month. Our dining room. A garland in our kids’ room. Our garden.
Hope you like this mini-tour. Now, go and visit the rest of the bloggers participating! The links are below.

esta hermosa tu casa Mila, lleba de colores alegres….preciosa
Gracias, linda hermosa. Aprendí de ti. besos.
Thats a lot of colour Mila! 😉 Really dig what you have done with the place though, seems ours is patently boring compared to yours (eclectic is the perfect adjective).
Hi, Thomas! You are so sweet! I have always thought of you and Elise as more of an intellectual couple than an “interior design” one. he. Thanks for stopping by.
You have such happy bursts of color everywhere! And I love all the plants. 🙂
Plants and color are my things. Thanks, Emy!
mila, i always love your home- bold and fantastically unique! i looooove that bathroom with the green and gallery wall and love the unique art pieces that abound. your moon garland… where is that from? i need one in my life!
I made the garland myself with Cricut! It was SO easy to make!!!! Thank you so much, Cassie!
BTW, I wrote a tutorial on how to make it a couple of weeks ago.
Love it! Your use of color throughout the home is fantastic! The green gallery wall in the bathroom and your outdoor art (something that I may use as inspo for our home) are sooooo good!
Hi Diane, you are so sweet! That green bathroom was definitely a risk but some people seem to like it! 🙂
Totally enjoyed your happy vibe home!
Thanks, Jamala!
Hi! Great photos and beautiful home . . . just popping in to let you know that I’ve pinned, tweeted, and stumbled this post. Hope you’ll stop by for a visit at Vintage Mama’s Cottage!
Sure, thanks!
I always forget how small your house is. Seriously girl, you make 900 sq ft look HUGE! You do such an amazing job at decorating it and all your colors are added perfection. I love how bold you go without even trying. It amazes me. You have that special touch that has drawn me in!
Jess, you are so sweet! You know I LOVE everything you do, too!
I’m in love with your vibrant and bold hues!! The bathroom with the green accent wall is to die for!! You really do make 900-square feet seem huge. Very, very lovely … and all that pothos ????
It is all a photo trick to make you think I live in a mansion… haha.
Mila, I love your tour!! Your colors are so vibrant and fun! You’ve totally got a knack for gallery walls, book shelves, plants and fun, colorful art! Your wall mural will always be my favorite!! You’re photos are awesome too!
Sometimes I feel that I need to take more advantage of that mural and show it more on IG, but I worry about showing the same image over and over again. thanks, Karrie!
Mila,
I just love your use of color, and I really think I could wallow in a tub of peonies. haha By the way, your bathroom is amazing. Gorgeous tour!
We are both fans of flowers!
Mila! Ok, so I’m new here, and SOOOOO in love! This was so inspiring! Your use of color is spot on! LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!
I am SO happy you visited, Heather! And even happier you liked my home. I love yours.
The mural, the paintings, the plants – love it all! So many cheerful vignettes throughout your home… 🙂
Thanks, Carol! I like color, as you can see.
What I really want, is to come visit and see this all in person because DAYUM. It always looks fantastic. Pinned the heck out of it too.
Maybe a house swap is in our near future?
You have packed so much awesome into this small space, bravo!!
Thanks, Natasha! I have been trying hard to make it nicer since I started this blog! I really appreciate your comment!
Your art collection is so good, and I love all your stunning vintage pieces paired with so much happy colour. Your home is gorgeous, as always.
My art collection is outgrowing my home! I need to start getting rid of some pieces or maybe sell them on Etsy.
Love all your bright colors and prints and that garden art? Is divine!
What a great tour! I just love all the personal touches and so much color!
Thanks, Eric. I really appreciate it!
Hello! I just found your blog and am loving it. The mural outside is just great! I may need to steal the idea for my backyard as the lack of color is a little dreary! I had plans for our giant brick wall but a mural may be easier and cheaper. Loving all your plant babies too… I can’t get enough either but lack some good, southern facing windows or else I’d add more.
The whole point of this blog is to give you ideas to decorate your home! Please, send photos once you complete it!!! thanks!
